Codemasters Gamers Day Unleashes Release Dates and More: DiRT 2, FUEL, Overlord Games and More

Codemasters shared its 2009 game lineup at its San Francisco Gamers Day last
night. Below are the games that were shown, along with a few new game trailers
that were released. There's something for every game platform and gamer.
DiRT 2 (multi-platform)
The next racing game in the popular DiRT series will be coming in September
2009. A Stadium King Shootout World Tour off-road event in Los Angeles

FUEL (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
An all-terrain racer coming from Asobo Studios, a new US landmarks trailer was
released. See it

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
New screens were released for the sandbox shooter. Coming in Summer 2009. See

Jumpgate Evolution (PC)
Game developer NetDevil released a new trailer for the MMO space combat shooter. NetDevil
showed me some gameplay at the New York ComicCon, and it has some amazing large
scale space battles (100 space ships going at it!). We'll be bringing more on
it very soon, but imagine taking part in those massive Star Wars or Battlestar
Galactica space battles, with some nicely colored space-scapes! Console gamers
will envy PC gamers for this in June. See

Overlord II (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
Triumph Studios is working on the next evil Overlord game. Set for a June 2009

Overlord Dark Legend (Wii)

Overlord Minions (Nintendo DS)
A unique version of Overlord tailored for the Nintendo DS. Coming in June 2009.
