MotorStorm will be coming in Autumn 2009 for the first time on the PSP and PS2 systems. Sony has announced a new MotorStorm game, MotorStorm Arctic Edge. As you can tell from the title, you'll be off to another off-road environment, this time Alaska. MotorStorm Arctic Edge is coming from seasoned racing game developers Bigbig Studios, known for their work on Pursuit Force. See a trailer for MotorStorm Arctic Edge here. Features of MotorStorm Arctic Edge as noted by Sony: - New vehicles: Snowcat and the Snow Machine - Single player, online multiplayer or playing with friends; two to eight players can compete against each other wirelessly via Ad Hoc Mode on PSP. Alternatively, you can also compete via online multiplayer using Infrastructure Mode on PSP to make it to the summit of the online global leaderboards. - Personalization of vehicle class: Customize parts such as wheels, exhausts, spoilers. Customize design from patterns and decals. MotorStorm has been known for pushing the visual power of the PS3, while providing smooth gameplay. The MotorStorm Arctic Edge trailer is looking promising on the PSP. It may just set a new level for racers on the handheld. From SCEE
