Just a little over a year ago, Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released for the Wii. It was probably the biggest game launch the system has seen, with Nintendo sponsoring tournaments across the US to find the ultimate Super Smash Bros. Brawl champ. The tournament would conclude at a Best Buy in New York with Daniel Jung coming out as the winner (see here). For his win, Daniel went home with one rare Swarovski crystal coated Wii console. The one of a kind Super Smash Bros. Brawl Wii system is valued at about $4,000 by the designer, Crystal Icing. The saga of the Swarovski Crystal Wii continues as Daniel has put it up for auction here on eBay, at a starting bid of $4,000. He's also throwing in a few bonus goods.
Details of the "Super Smash Bros Brawl Themed Swarovski Crystal Wii" auction, from Daniel Jung:
This Crystal Wii is fully functional and comes with all the standard stock items: One comment on the Crystal Icing article said "I'd sell my children for that." Well, I wouldn't say $4,000 is the value of your kids, but for well to do gaming collectors, or Swarovski Crystal enthusiasts, you have until March 19, 2009 to place a bid! Any bidders? See the eBay listing for the Swarovski covered Wii here.
