Fallout 3: The Pitt downloadable content released, glitches reported PDF Print E-mail

Fallout 3's second downloadable content, The Pitt, was released on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace this morning. The new content will cost you 800 Microsoft Points ($10). Some of the players who purchased and downloaded the content are reporting some glitches, indicated by "red and white exclamation marks".

To follow the latest developments on the downloadable content fix (for the Xbox 360 release), visit the Bethesda Softworks forum here or here. Bethesda Softworks is currently working on the issue. You can see a couple of videos below, as noted by nuka-cola.net.

From a Bethesda Softworks forums moderator:
"Since yellow exclamation marks were an indicator of missing meshes in Morrowind and Oblivion, I would personally guess that the red exclamation marks denote missing meshes in Fallout 3. If that is indeed the case, you just need to wait for the missing files to be uploaded and it will resolve the problem fully and instantly: with Morrowind, a missing mesh or texture could cause a crash, and just adding that file would fix it. If that is the problem in this instance, then there is absolutely nothing that any of us can do (short of creating the missing art ourselves!) but wait for a fix."

Keep a lookout here on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the download.

UPDATE: The Pitt DLC has been temporarily removed from Xbox LIVE by Bethesda Softworks, as they've noted on their blog.
