A feature packed update is coming tomorrow for WipEout HD. The version 1.30 update will be available on April 8th. More multiplayer gameplay stats will be available. These stats will give recognition to players who may not have made it into the top 3 spots. It'll at least make you feel better by noting something you excel in (like being the most aggressive player)!

Here's a rundown of the new features in the 1.30 update, as reported on the PlayStation Blog:

- Online Ranking: Finishing position, speed class and the rank of your opponents will determine how many ranking points you are awarded.

- Podium Screen & Online Badges: The top 3 racers will be displayed at the end of a race. There will also be awards for unique performances (as shown above), with 33 different types up for grabs.

- Game invites: You can invite a friend to a race or jump in a race with a friend.

- Spectator mode: Watch a race in progress, at different camera angles.

- Additional race configuration options: Create public, friends-only or invite-only matches. You will also be able to select if you want Pilot Assist and Barrel Rolls on or off. Set the number of laps as well, with a cap of 20.
