Link's friend... Written by Guest on 2009-06-05 16:14:06 Link has no sword, but that girl looks like the personification of the master sword to me. Her head to her shoulders looks like the sword's hilt and the diamond on her chest looks like the diamond on the master sword. http://www.thetanooki.com/wp-content/gallery/master-sword/real-mastersword.jpg |
The person Written by Guest on 2009-06-05 17:37:04 Some people thought it was the Child fairy that gives you the fire and ice arrows in Wind Waker. I am guessing that the story is going to be about the Master Sword. No Wolf Link though... |
Written by Guest on 2009-06-05 18:47:54 When I saw it, first thing I thought: "Queen of Fairies" from Wind Waker. I agree, she somewhat resembles the Master Sword... |
... Written by Guest on 2009-06-05 20:10:30 I'm sticking with the Queen Fairy from Wind Waker--check link: http://www.zeldauniverse.net/images/games/tww/characters/queenfairy.png Note the hair and eyes. She could have gotten older, or it could be the different graphic style that explains the further development. |
Hm... Written by Guest on 2009-06-05 21:53:05 Um... if she's a fairy... I doubt she really would get much older. Also, we're talking about two separate Zelda universes. Its possible that Nintendo would use the same character in both worlds like they do with Tingle and a couple of other characters, but I don't think its likely. Giving a personality to the Master Sword doesn't sound like a good idea. (Not that I'm saying its not possible) However, the Master Sword has always resembled a flawless and godly beacon that repels evil. If you give the Master Sword a personality, you are likely to be adding flaws to it without even meaning to. The Master Sword should remain untouched seeing that it is a vital symbol of Hyrule and The Legend of Zelda. Anyways, I want to point out that this is merely concept art. Meaning that this is an idea and may even have been rejected. Also, Shigeru Miyamoto is a legend and has designed previous games before. Is it also possible that the artist behind this image is also the artist that designed the fairy queen. It may just be a coincidence. |
Theories Written by Guest on 2009-06-06 12:48:31 I very much agree with the first comment posted. After much examination, I noticed that the mysterious girl with Link could very well have an important connection with the Master Sword as she as many resemblences of the Master Sword. The Master Sword being unpresent also emphasizes that theory. Another theory is that she may be a type of Great Fairy as she has resemblences of the Great Fairy as well. All I know for sure is that much speculation will be going onto the Internet on this poster for Zelda Wii. |
intresting..... Written by Guest on 2009-06-06 16:39:48 First thought, fairy queen from Wind Waker, but she does look a lot like the master sword. Shoulders are like the hilt, the head is like the tip, diamond shaped pendant. oh boy, whats nintendo getting themselves into? if Link uses her as a weapon, two things. one, abuse, two, I hereby doub Link as a chicken. |
but.. Written by Guest on 2009-06-06 17:26:23 perhaps she can transform into the master sword. |
the girl Written by Guest on 2009-06-07 20:09:06 yeah, i agree, does look like the wind waker fairy. but.. remeber that nintendo is ticksy so this might just be based on her image. maybe THIS girl like to discuss the abnormal size a cheese in the middle east. not saying thats relevent but i point out that just cos she looks similar doesn't mean shes the same person. look at all the people in legend of zelda ocarian of time and majoras mask. as for looking like the master sword.. maybe shes the spirit of it. or soemthing. |
Hmm? Written by Guest on 2009-06-13 09:29:26
hmmm...odd it is, but why is Link holdin the Hylian Shield on the left hand? |
Written by Guest on 2009-06-21 19:49:30 that girl is the master sword. look at her dress and how it goes downward. the master sword had a downward handle. Also the master sword had a diamond on the tip of the handle and a diamond on the downward/purplish part of the sword. Plus her legs are not separate they are very close together which represents the sword itself |
