Details on the upcoming PlayStation Portable game Invizimals reveals that a PSP/PSP Go Camera is likely coming to North America. A couple of game trailers for Invizimals also shows the augmented reality gameplay on the PSP Go system.

Watch two trailers for Invizimals below, one featuring the original PSP Camera and another one showing the game on the PSP Go system.

The original Sony Playstation Portable Go-Cam was never released at retail in North America. With the Invizimals game trailer shown on the new PSP Go system, it's likely that you can expect some new design of the PSP Camera or an adapter for use with the PSP Camera. Sony has not made any announcements on the PSP Go Camera yet, but it is hinted at the end of this IGN article.

Here are the details on Invizimals from Sony's Fact Sheet on the game:

"Invizimals allows players to interact with their environment, using the PSP™ Camera to look for invisible creatures that lurk around every corner. Using the PSP on-screen sensor, players can track down the mysterious Invizimals and lay down magical traps to capture as many of them as possible.

Use the Invizimals to face off in exciting battles using magic and special moves to defeat opponents. Players will teach their Invizimals to learn new attacks and evolve into bigger, stronger, creatures. Indulge in a single player game of magical discovery or enjoy multiplayer action online. Players can also trade Invizimals online with friends and build up a unique collection of amazing creatures."

KEY FEATURES:
- Use the PSP™ Camera to hunt down invisible animals and capture them.
- Pit the Invizimals against each other or enjoy multiplayer fights with friends.
- Learn new attacks, power up, and evolve your Invizimals.
- Trade Invizimals and magical items with friends ad hoc or online."

More information on Invizimals, including screenshots, is posted here on the UK PlayStation.com website.
