This Wednesday, two new Xbox LIVE Arcade games will be available from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. The games are Sam & Max Save the World and Magic the Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers. Two very different games that will appeal to gamers who like RPGs and strategy games, in some unique form.

Sam & Max Save the World
1600 Microsoft Points ($20)

Details from Telltale Games:
"Sam & Max Save the World, which was known as Sam & Max Season One for previous releases, has been enhanced for Xbox LIVE Arcade with achievements, widescreen and HD graphic support, and updates to the gameplay controls. The game is in English with subtitles in English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish. The Xbox LIVE Arcade download will sell for 1600 Microsoft points—less than 300 points per episode."

Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers
800 Microsoft Points ($10)

Details from Microsoft:
"This arcade-style game takes you on a journey through a vast Multiverse of unique worlds where you are deemed a Planeswalker, a powerful mage who battles others for glory, knowledge and conquest. Command an arsenal of creatures and spells as you do battle against the computer or compete online against real-life players via Xbox LIVE Arcade. With numerous game play scenarios, including multiplayer game mode, Duels of the Planeswalkers offers an unrivaled depth in which each game is different from the last."

Fans of the Magic card strategy game will be eligible to receive a limited edition foil card of "Garruk Wildspeaker" with the purchase of the Duels of the Planeswalkers XBLA game.
