Remember the days of Wii shortages and systems bundles? Well it looks like retailers and consumers may finally be catching up to the supply and demand of the Wii. The Wii has been the top selling system of this generation, recently breaking the 20 million units sold mark. Other current generation systems may have dropped in price and offered other bundles as an incentive, but the Wii system has remained at the same price ($249.99 MSRP) and system package since its launch. A few deals have recently shown up from a couple of retailers. Toys R Us is offering a $20 Gift Card and 2 accessories (in-store) with the purchase of a Wii system. Walmart is also currently offering a free game of your choice with the purchase of a Wii system. These aren't like the Wii bundles offered before that included extra Wii items or games since they're bonuses at the $249.99 MSRP of the Wii. Is this an early indication of a possible upcoming Wii price drop or new bundle for the holiday season? Could be. There aren't too many other Wii deals out there just yet, but with the Wii sales appearing to level off and other systems closing in on price (or in the case of the Xbox 360 Arcade system, now lower at $199) the Wii could use an injection of a new system bundle or price cut incentive. Let us know if you spot any other deals out there on the $249.99 Wii!
