Microsoft and Bungie are offering a pre-order bonus for Halo 3: ODST. You'll get a code to play as Sgt. Johnson in the announced co-op multiplayer mode, Firefight.

Also announced was a second standalone disc with three new Halo 3 multiplayer maps (Heretic, Longshore, and Citadel), all original Halo 3 maps, as well as the “Legendary,” “Heroic,” and “Mythic” Map packs for a total of 24 maps. Halo 3: ODST will also include access for the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta. Halo: Reach is the prequel to the Halo trilogy, scheduled for a fall 2010 release. Halo 3: ODST will be available on September 22nd for the Xbox 360.
