Glu Mobile has released a little virtual Transformer on the iTunes App Store. Bumblebee is the first virtual action figure to be released in the line of Transformers CyberToys. Besides turning a 3D model of Bumbleebee around in a virtual environment, you can set him in 4 different poses and have him transform into vehicle mode in the "Action Mode" section of the application. While in the different poses, you can touch some hotspots to have Bumblebee use his weapons and interact with other gear. Another cool feature is the "Puzzle Mode." In five different stages, Alpha through Epsilon, you can test how quickly you can transform Bumblebee. Interaction is done by a series of touch, swipes and shakes. There's even a Leaderboard where you can submit your time and see where you rank. Think you've got the quickest fingers? In addition, there is a Tech Spec screen, giving you all the critical features of Bumblebee (with more to come in an update) and a link to a YouTube trailer for this week's release of the TRANSFORMERS: Revenge of the Fallen movie. Watch for more Transformers, both AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS, to be released as a Transformers CyberToy. This comes from Glu Mobile's Glu Snax line of Apps. The Transformers CyberToy is available for .99 cents from the iTunes App Store. It you're a Transformers fan, at $1 you can't go wrong in downloading it. Check it out and give Bumbleebee a whirl!
