EA and DICE have released Battlefield 1943 on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace today. The FPS game is now available for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15). Battlefield 1943 is an online multiplayer-only game, which supports 2 to 24 players. Choose your side, American or Japanese, and your class and try to capture all the checkpoints and deplete enemy forces. DICE's Frostbite engine powers the game, so you're free to destroy environments where your enemies may be taking cover. If you're looking to jump into an online FPS and get into some quick action, Battlefield 1943 is your fix.
From Xbox.com: Download the demo from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace or add it to your download queue here. The demo gives you 30 minutes of gameplay, probably good for about 2 full multiplayer matches. The full game is available for purchase from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for $15, which you can purchase and queue up here. To see more on Battlefield 1943, visit the official website here. Note: Xbox LIVE Gold Membership is required for Battlefield 1943 since it's a multiplayer only game.
