You may have heard of Spyborgs, but if it's been a while since you've seen some screens (see how it looked a year ago here), the game is now basically completely different. Capcom didn't like the feedback from the game after showing early builds to the press, so they decided to redo, basically, everything. The art, gameplay and story are almost completely different.
The game has an Achievements system of its own, even though the Wii doesn't use one like the Xbox 360 or PLAYSTATION 3. I believe Capcom is tapping into your need to complete every aspect of the game, but it does unlock art, videos and "new challenges." Spyborgs will be released on September 29th for the Wii in North America. The game looks good and the co-op based experience is always welcome, but is this the right platform? We'll find out when the sales numbers come back. Look for more information here as Capcom gets it to us. Watch a trailer of Spyborgs below, released by Capcom during E3 2009.
