Heading to Comic-Con? You might want to head down to EA's booth (Booth #5123) to purchase the new Dead Space Extraction comic which will later be released sometime in September.

The issue, which will cost you $2.00 (will retail for $3.00 once released in September), will provide a exclusive Comic-Con cover art for your collection. Also, there will be a booth signing set-up to receive signatures by illustrator Ben Templesmith and writer Antony Johnston on your new comic. The booth signing will take place on Thursday from 3PM to 4PM, and Friday to Sunday from 1PM to 2PM.

Not into comics? No problem! Also available at the booth will include a whole variety of art books along with iPhone skins and a Isaac Clarke Unitology figurine which could help you build your Dead Space collection.

“There is so much more to the Dead Space universe than we could ever fit into one game and we’re excited to be working with Image Comics again to extend the story in Dead Space Extraction,” said Steve Papoutsis, executive producer of Dead Space Extraction. “Ben and Antony did such a tremendous job with the original comic, we can’t wait for fans to get their hands on this special issue.”

The development team will also be hosting a “Art of Making a Horror Video Game” panel at Room 2 on Friday, July 24th at 6PM, so if you can, make sure you visit that panel.

The Dead Space Extraction comic will go on sale in September 2009 for a retail value of $3.00.
