With all the promotions and gaming community campaigns pushing it, Frame City Killer looked like it was going to make it out the door at one point, even with all the delays it was encountering. The lead character was undergoing a fashion make-over after receiving some harsh criticism for his cheesy sunglasses and the character's “plastic” look as well. Namco Bandai decided to completely abandon the Unreal Engine 3 based action game, in favor of putting its efforts into an upcoming Xbox 360 role-playing game.
