The multiplayer for Red Faction: Guerrilla brings a bunch of mechanics to the third-person shooter genre. See our review of the game for all the details, but the reason for this post is the announcement of a multiplayer map pack for the game. Starting September 17th, for a slim 560 Microsoft Points or $6.99 on the PlayStation 3, you will be able to get two new modes, and eight new maps. The two new modes are Bagman and Team Bagman, so it is technically only one new mode. This is a follow-up to the prequel single player pack, Demons of the Badlands, which is also available now for 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99 on the PlayStation 3. Both bring very different things to the game, but are well worth your money. What THQ has also revealed is that a third DLC pack for Red Faction: Guerilla will be announced “soon.” We have no other information about what it is or when it will be coming.
