PSPgo will include Rock Band Unplugged 'Lite' Voucher PDF Print E-mail

Earlier in August, BestBuy.com listed the PSPgo system on their website, along with a little note that caught plenty of attention. In the description of the PSPgo was text that read: "Plus, an included PlayStation Store voucher for Rock Band Unplugged lets you start enjoying PSPgo's rocking features right away." It wasn't clear at that point if this was an offer exclusively from Best Buy or if Sony hadn't made it official at the time. The text was removed from the BestBuy.com website soon after it appeared. Today Sony clears it up. It turns out that this is for "Rock Band Unplugged Lite," a version of the original UMD Rock Band Unplugged game, but with 5 tracks included instead of 40+.

Details from the PlayStation Blog:
"This lite version of Rock Band Unplugged will allow you to play five full tracks. Plus, you can create your own personalized version of the game by purchasing your favorite Rock Band songs from the PlayStation Network."

The posting on the PlayStation Blog notes that it is a limited offer. See the official PlayStation Blog for more details and what the community reaction is.

The PSPgo system will be available in North America for $249.99 in Piano Black (pre-order here) and Pearl White (pre-order here) on October 1, 2009.

stop complaining that you have to rebuy all your games. no you dont. nobody is forcing you to get a go. and if you want a go, just buy new games for it that you dont have for your 3000. stop blaming sony. you stupid a holes forget that this DOES NOT REPLACE THE PSP, it is another alternative. and all you whiney spoiled brats feel your so entitled to have everything your way because you have been so"loyal". no your whiney losers, get over it. its like saying "why doesnt sony offer a transfer system for my cassete tapes that i spent so much money on, those jerks are going to make me rebuy all my music again on CD". Think before you retards speak....seriously
