If you own an Xbox 360 and have not heard of Shadow Complex, get out of the cave that you are living in. Epic Games and ChAIR Entertainment have announced that their smash hit, Shadow Complex, has sold more than 200,000 units over Xbox LIVE in its first week. Check out our review of Shadow Complex here. The game is awesome. These download numbers is a record for single-player games on Xbox LIVE Arcade. Shadow Complex has now become both a critical and financial success.

"We're really flattered by all the great things fans and critics have said about Shadow Complex," said Dr. Michael Capps, president of Epic Games. "Chair's goal was to make a gorgeous game with tons of action, addictive challenges, and a great sense of exploration – and they knocked it out of the park.  We’re so proud to have Shadow Complex join the Epic portfolio. If you haven’t already downloaded it on Xbox LIVE, give the demo a try."

Unfortunately, there was an exploit discovered during launch week that would allow some people to play the whole game without paying for it. I believe that this issue has been resolved, but Shadow Complex’s success could have been even larger if this exploit did not success. GamingBits would like to congratulate ChAIR for making such a quality game for such a small price.

Visit xbox.com for more information about Shadow Complex. Shadow Complex is available for $15.00 (1200 Microsoft Points).
