Harmonix and MTV Games have announced that starting September 8th, Rock Band stations will be appearing in bars across the U.S. This will help increase traffic in bars and help everyone have a great time while they rock out with the guys or girls in Rock Band.

Bars can expect the following features, as noted by Harmonix:

- Designation as an official Rock Band Bar Nights venue.
- Customizable marketing materials for download to promote your Rock Band Nights.
- Use of the official Rock Band logo (as approved).
- Inclusion in RockBand.com event listings and forum discussions.
- Promotion across the Rock Band Bar Nights Facebook, Twitter and iPhone application.
- Access to purchase turnkey Rock Band product solutions and early access to Rock Band promotions and offers.
- Exclusive music solution offering the full Rock Band music catalogue of over 800 songs.
- Direct contact with the dedicated Rock Band Bar Nights support team.

Bars who sign-up for this offer before September 8th will be eligible to participate in The Beatles: Rock Band preview program, where participating bars will receive a 5-song preview disc before the release of The Beatles: Rock Band on September 9, 2009.

If you want to take part in Rock Band Bar Nights, you can do so by entering your Zip Code in an online application that will be released soon or by downloading the official free application for your iPhone/iPod touch (to be announced). If you are a bar-owner and want to take this program into your hands at your own bar, visit http://www.rockband.com/barnights/ to register.
