Nintendo's Wii system and accessories have only been available in a white color in the US since its launch. It's hard to imagine when compared to other current generation systems, which have had a variety of color options for their controllers or consoles. In Japan, a Wii black system bundle and accessories were recently made available (see here). While Nintendo of America hasn't announced a black Wii system for the US, a new Wii Remote and Wii MotionPlus Black bundle has just been announced. It's the first new color option available from Nintendo for the Wii. A Black Nunchuk controller will also be available separately. A specific release date has not been announced for the black colored controllers, but you can expect the black Wii accessories to arrive this holiday season.
