Metal Slug has been known for its classic 2D side-scrolling gaming. Throughout all its console releases, its maintained the 2D format. For the first time, SNK/Playmore will be bringing the Metal Slug series to 3D in this Playstation 2 release. The game will be released in Japan June 29, 2006.
