Mad Catz has announced the Wireless Wooden Rock Band Stratocaster Guitar for the Xbox 360 is now available. This is for anyone wanting to get that much closer to playing the real thing. The controller is a full sized 1:1 replica of the real Stratocaster guitar which features the body, neck and headstock made out of wood, with metal tuning keys and bridge. Disguised as volume and tuning controls, the Start and Back button on the guitar lay right with the whammy bar to provide a realistic finish. Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz commented, “As our latest premium product and flagship guitar, the Wireless Wooden Fender Stratocaster guitar controller brings the authenticity and realism of a full-size genuine Stratocaster to Rock Band, guitar enthusiasts, and music fans alike. The guitar is another example of our strategy to expand our portfolio of premium products.” The Rock Band Wireless Wooden Stratocaster Guitar is available now for the Xbox 360 with an MSRP of $299.99. The guitar is compatible with every Rock Band game including The Beatles: Rock Band when it is released on Tuesday, September 9th. You can buy the stratocaster at the official Mad Catz website here. If you would like to see a walk-through of the guitar, there is an official video from Mad Catz, which you can view below.
