Time travel is a new trend appearing in a bunch of new first-person shooters these days. Darkest of Days tries to incorporate this time travel mechanic into its story and gameplay. Developed by Phantom EFX and 8monkey Labs during the last three years, the game will feature many famous historical battles with modern and futuristic weapons. This concept is definitely trying to bring a fresh experience to a genre that has overused many of the famous battles from history. Going through the Civil War, World War I and II with these newer weapons is definitely something I want to do. Darkest of Days is available on PC (via steam, Direct2Drive, Digital River and www.phantomefx.com) and Xbox 360. It is priced at $49.99 for the Xbox 360 and $39.99 on PC, so pick it up at any of your favorite retailers. For more information about Darkest of Days, please visit darkestofdays.com.
