Konami and Kojima Productions will be releasing the "Metal Gear Solid Digital Graphic Novel" on June 2006 for the Sony PSP system. The second interactive digital comic UMD to be released, following "The Silent Hill Experience," fuses art, animations, music and sound effects. Ashley Wood, the illustrator of IDW Publishing's Metal Gear comics, has created the stylized illustrations in this digital story of Solid Snake’s first adventure. The UMD movie format may be suffering a quick death, but this interactive digital comic format may open the doors to a new experience for gaming fans on the Sony PSP.
