Bethesda Softworks has announced that the Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC) will be available on October 13th for $59.99 (or $49.99 on the PC). If you missed out on the amazing post-nuclear action-RPG, this edition includes the full game as well as the 5 downloadable episodes. The episodes include: Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. Many hours of play and exploration await!

For PlayStation 3 gamers who have been playing Fallout 3 and are awaiting the DLC episodes, here are the release dates:

Broken Steel - September 24th
Operation: Anchorage - October 1st
The Pitt - October 1st
Point Lookout - October 8th
Mothership Zeta - October 8th

There's plenty of catching up to do in a short period of time. A patch was also released today for the PlayStation 3 release. Bethesda Softworks notes it includes "some optimizations, and adds trophy support for the DLC."

Xbox 360 gamers who have downloaded all five DLC episodes are eligible to get the upcoming Fallout 3 Xbox LIVE Premium Theme for free (more details on that here).
