Today, Nintendo Europe announced that the Nintendo DS Lite will be arriving in Europe on June 23, 2006. Although European DS Lite buyers will have to wait a little over a week longer for the DS Lite than the U.S. buyers, Euro gamers will have the option of a black or white Nintendo DS Lite. The debut of the U.S. DS Lite will only see the release of the Polar White model. Following the release in Japan, The Polar White DS Lite will debut in Australia first, followed by the U.S. and last, but not least, is the European release with the black or white DS Lite models. From Nintendo Europe: "It will join the Nintendo DS range as a 'premium' alternative to the current Nintendo DS and is expected to retail at the estimated price of around £99.99 / 149.99 Euros. "
