I have to admit, symphonic goth/metal music was a genre I didn't expect to arrive on Rock Band. At least not so soon. Now, thanks to RockGamer Studios, Rock Band is broadening out, or burrowing, into the music of Finnish symphonic metal group Amberian Dawn. As you can hear in Amberian Dawn's "River of Tuoni" music video below, this will push your Rock Band music gaming skills to new limits. RockGamer Studios is currently creating Amberian Dawn's “River of Tuoni” and “He Sleeps In A Grove” tracks from their album "The Clouds Of Northland Thunder" for release on the Rock Band Network this fall. The Rock Band Network was announced in July 2008 as a way to author music for Rock Band gameplay. RockGamer Studios specializes in bringing music to the Rock Band platform using the Rock Band Network. Thanks to this forward thinking by Harmonix, the developers of Rock Band, gamers can get to play some tracks that otherwise may not have been possible. See more details on rockgamerstudios.com here.
