Nintendo Europe has announced three new Nintendo DSi colors are coming to Europe. The Nintendo DSi will be available in Metallic Blue, Light Blue and Red starting October 23rd. These colors are in addition to the original White and Black DSi colors released when the Nintendo DSi launched in Europe. Nintendo Europe also noted that Flipnote Studio and the Facebook feature come pre-installed in the new DSi systems, so there's no need to download them from the DSi Shop. You'll still want to stop in the DSi Shop before March 31, 2010 to get 1000 Nintendo DSi Points (worth $10), for free. Flipnote Studio allows you to create flip book style animations and share your animations online. The Facebook feature lets you easily post your DSi photos on your Facebook page.

In North America, the Nintendo DSi is currently available in White, Black, Light Blue and Pink. DSi owners in North America have until October 5th to get 1000 Nintendo DSi Points for free from the DSi Shop, good for downloading DSiWare games or applications.
