Capcom has announced a new playable character appearing in Tatsunoko VS Capcom Ultimate All-Stars. Dead Rising's zombie survival star Frank West will be playable in the fighting game. He was the unlikely hero of Dead Rising, so why not? Maybe he's not the type of character you'd expect to find in a fighting game, but he does have some signature moves that will help.

Watch the gameplay video below to see Frank West breaking out bats, golf clubs, his camera, and even a Mega Man suit to fight off opponents. The announcement was made at the Tokyo Game Show 2009 by the game's producer, Ryota Niitsuma.

Tatsunoko VS Capcom Ultimate All-Stars will be available for the Wii in North America on January 26, 2010.
