Sony sells 1 million units of PlayStation 3 120 GB system (aka PS3 Slim) worldwide PDF Print E-mail

Sony looks like it has finally found the right price and configuration of the PlayStation 3. A spike in sales on the PlayStation 3 has happened, thanks to the new hardware configuration and $299.99 price point of the PlayStation 3 120 GB model.

Since the early September 2009 release (or end of August for some), the PlayStation 3 120 GB system has sold more than one million units worldwide. The PS3 120GB not only has the lowest price tag ($299.99) of the PS3 family to date, but also has lower power consumption, a streamlined design and a larger capacity harddrive.

buy one now, leave it in the box.... come december people will be willing to pay about $500 when they can't find 'em in the stores.
