A new demo for Lost Planet 2 was just released today on the PlayStation Network. If you've played the previously released Xbox 360 demo, this one is very different. The PlayStation 3 demo showcases a rich jungle level in E.D.N III. You can play with 3 other players online or try it solo. There are a total of 3 playable missions from the Lost Planet 2 campaign.

From Capcom:
"The demo is a brief glimpse into the world and possibilities of Lost Planet 2, highlighting the range of weaponry available to players while showing off the high definition graphical capabilities of MT Framework 2.0, the latest version of Capcom’s proprietary 3D game engine. The first generation of MT Framework powered Capcom games like Dead Rising, the original Lost Planet and Devil May Cry 4, while an updated 1.5 version made possible the award-winning visuals of Resident Evil 5."

Go to the PlayStation Network now and download the demo to check out Lost Planet 2's fluid animation, even better looking Akrid enemies, explosive weaponry and rich jungle environments. Orange gooey stuff never looked so good!
