While this news may upset some future PSPgo owners who currently own a standard PSP with UMD games galore, it may benefit owners of say, one UMD disc. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has announced that they will be offering a voucher program for 3 digital game downloads on the PSPgo. You can choose to download three games from a list of seventeen. First, the highlights of the offered games, then the catch. The more notable games are as follows: Killzone Liberation, SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3, Wipeout Pure, Everybody's Golf, echochrome, Buzz!: Brain Bender, Master Quiz, LocoRoco and finally Patapon. This promotion starts on October 1st, 2009 and runs until March 31st, 2010. The promotion is open to owners of a PSP 1000, 2000 or 3000 and at least one UMD, when they purchase a PSPgo. Games available may vary by territory and age restrictions apply. This offer was announced by SCEE for the European region. Details still remain to be announced for North America.
