Nintendo has announced today's new downloadable game releases available from the DSi Shop and Wii Shop. For DSi gamers, there is Square Enix's Dragon Quest Wars, a grid-based strategy game that uses monsters from the Dragon Quest RPG series. A new Art Academy application is also available for DSiWare with Art Academy: Second Semester. On Virtual Console, there's Altered Beast. It's the arcade release, since the SEGA Genesis version has already been released for 800 Wii Points. An 8-player racing game reminiscent of Super Off Road comes on WiiWare with DRiiFT Mania. ARKANOID Plus! brings some re-imagined arcade gameplay of the classic that includes and Arcade Mode, VS Mode, and Time Mode.
