Ubisoft has announced that a unique version of Assassin's Creed II will be available for the Nintendo DSi and DS systems in November 2009. The game is aptly titled Assassin's Creed II: Discovery and places gamers in the role of Ezio, who appears in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sequel also out this year. Ezio will be traveling to Spain in search of fellow assassins, held in the clutches of the Inquisition. Our protagonist unveils a plot by the Templar's to sail to the west and discover the New World.

“Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery is a great way for fans to experience a new chapter of the Assassin’s Creed II storyline,” shared John Parkes, EMEA marketing director at Ubisoft.

Details on Assassin's Creed II: Discovery from Ubisoft:
"The game takes platforming into the next generation with an emphasis on exhilarating speed and breathtaking acrobatics. The in-game animations provide players with a true visceral experience and the intuitive controls enable players to easily execute assassinations and nimbly navigate obstacles or reaching daredevil speeds. Nintendo DSi owners will be able to take pictures of themselves and put them directly into the game as “WANTED!” posters."
