Just several days ago, Immersion offered to help Sony to put the "rumble" back into the upcoming PS3 controller if Sony dropped the ongoing legal battle over the PS2's "rumble" feature with Immersion. Sony had claimed it needed to drop the rumble feature to introduce the new "gyroscopic motion" recognition, although many thought it was actually dropped due to the legal battle. eDimensional, Inc. proves that motion sensitivity and rumble functionality can co-exist with their PS2 controller, the G-Pad Pro Gyroscopic Gamepad. "The G-Pad Pro includes the vibration technology officially licensed from Immersion," said a company spokesperson. Let's hope Sony puts the rumble back in the PS3 controller before its release in November 2007!
