The prequel to the sci-fi horror game Dead Space ships for Wii gamers starting today with Dead Space Extraction. Dead Space was released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Although Wii gamers were left out of the first experience of the game, Wii gamers get the exclusive experience of Dead Space Extraction. Dead Space Extraction is also the first game under EA's newly formed game development studio name, Visceral Games. It's another M-rated game on the Wii platform, which continues to broaden the Wii to an older audience of Wii gamers. Fans of the first game who are looking for a richer and deeper story from Dead Space shouldn't miss out on this one. “Dead Space Extraction has been such a rewarding project for many different reasons,” said Steve Papoutsis, Executive Producer on Dead Space Extraction. “We have successfully brought Dead Space’s trademark action horror experience to a new platform while maintaining our studio’s high standards for quality and polish. Dead Space Extraction will be one of the defining action horror games for the Wii.” Details on Dead Space Extraction for the Wii: See more on Dead Space Extraction here at the official website.
