Makers of many popular pinball games on consoles (Pinball FX, Zen Pinball), ZEN Studios have announced that they are branching out into a new sport, Minigolf. ZEN Studios still are creating a game with realistic ball physics, but now it is on the grass instead of inside of a pinball machine. Releasing sometime this year exclusively on the PlayStation Network, Planet Minigolf will feature over 140 holes over many courses with insane hazards. Also included is a robust multiplayer mode that includes local competition, weekly tournaments and global competitions to find out which nation is the best at minigolf. Claiming to have the most true-to-life experience in the genre, we are going to have to wait to find out. ZEN Studios does have a good track record with ball physics.
