Wii and DS gamers will soon get to experience a new Need For Speed racing game with Need for Speed NITRO. Electronic Arts today announced the racing game has gone gold, which means the final game is out in production. It's actually ahead of the previously announced release date, now set for a November 3rd release in North America (pre-order WIi release here and DS release here) and a November 6th release in Europe. Hopefully Need for Speed NITRO will be as fun and reinvigorating for the Need For Speed racing series as Need For Speed SHIFT was for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (which also happens to be on sale today only for $44.98). “Our vision was to create something unique on the Nintendo platforms,” said Joe Booth, Senior Producer. “Need for Speed NITRO combines the franchise’s trademark attitude, sense of speed and addictive gameplay with the approachability and pick up and play of Nintendo.” Every good racing game needs a pumping soundtrack to get your adrenaline going.
