Don't put down your Separator or Clementine just yet! Today Double Fine Productions and Electronic Arts have announced the first downloadable content (DLC) for Brutal Legend. It's called "Tears of the Hextadon" and it'll be available next week on Xbox LIVE on November 3rd and on the PlayStation Network on November 5th. The Tears of the Hextadon DLC includes two new multiplayer maps, Circle of Tears and Death's Fjord. In addition, you may be able to put down your Separator, as a free axe will be available. Read on below.

Here are the details on the Tears of the Hextadon DLC:
"The Brütal Legend Tears of the Hextadon map pack expands the Brütal Legend Stage Battle multiplayer experience with two new multiplayer maps. In the first map, Circle of Tears, vile waters have carved a rough-hewn circular battlefield into a forsaken land that players must circumvent to destroy their opponent. In the second map, Death's Fjord, players find themselves on an icy mountain pass with a dense cluster of fans that lie below, waiting to be harvested by those brave enough to capture them without cover from enemy attack. All players who download the new map pack will receive a free axe, the Blade of Ormagöden."

The Tears of the Hextadon DLC will be free until November 19th, when it goes up to 400 Microsoft Points ($5 on PSN) after that. See more on Brutal Legend here at the official website and read our review of it here!
