It seems you can't visit the App Store on the iPhone or iPod Touch without seeing Tap Tap Revenge. Tapulous has just released a new addition to the Tap Tap Revenge family of games, Tap Tap Revenge: Metallica. It is now available on the App Store for $4.99.

“Tap Tap Revenge fans have been wanting an app from us that rocks and no band embodies rock music better than Metallica,” said Tim O’Brien, head of business development at Tapulous “The Tap Tap Revenge: Metallica App really captures the head-thrashing metal of James, Lars, Kirk and Robert and is our most amped up game to date.”

Included with this Metallica version is a whole new Arcade mode where players have to avoid bombs and other special objects to make the experience more exciting and challenging. Also, a new Bluetooth Battles Mode has been introduced where you can gather some friends up (each with their own iPhone or iPod touch) and play a point battle while throwing objects to each other to ruin your opponents streak.

The following tracks will be included with the purchase of Tap Tap Revenge: Metallica:

"Enter Sandman"
"Sad But True"
"King Nothing"
"All Nightmare Long"
"Some Kind of Monster"
"Master of Puppets"
"Seek & Destroy"
"Fuel"
"One"
"For Whom the Bell Tolls"

Tapulous also has a contest where you and a friend can go to the sold out Las Vegas venue with Metallica's "World Magnetic Tour" and enjoy the show, with the opportunity to personally meet each member of the band. How do you enter? Simply purchase Tap Tap Revenge: Metallica.
