20 Years of Wallace & Gromit celebration kicks off with free game, discounted adventures and more PDF Print E-mail

Telltale Games and Aardman Animations is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Wallace & Gromit series starting today. Telltale Games is offering a free playable episode of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, titled "Muzzled!" (PC). You can get it for free, until November 8th, by going to www.telltalegames.com. In addition, PC gamers can save on all four games in the Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures. Telltale Games is offering them all for $20, discounted from $34.95, also until November 8th. More episodes of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures will also be hitting Xbox LIVE Arcade today. Keep a lookout for them. Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures is a fun puzzle/adventure game with a great looking claymation style, as defined by the stop-motion animated series.

Here are more details from Telltale Games on today's 20th anniversary Wallace & Gromit celebrations:

XBLA Launch - For the first time, all four episodes of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures will be available on Xbox LIVE(R) Arcade November 4, selling for 800 Microsoft Points each. The episodes, along with a premium theme and new gamer pics will be available on a special Wallace & Gromit branded destination page on Xbox LIVE Arcade.

Charity Drive - From November 4-8, Telltale is partnering with Wallace & Gromit Children's Foundation and Penny Arcade's Child's Play, making donations to the charities for each full Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures PC season purchased. Telltale is also giving away free digital versions of the games to the children's hospitals supported by the charities.

Collector's DVD - Order taking begins November 4 for the Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures full season collector's DVD for PC, which features all four episodes, behind the scenes videos, Aardman Animation's Cracking Contraptions animated shorts, game trailers and full galleries from the making of the game, which include never-before-seen concept art.
