Call of Duty Endowment (CODE) is no game from Activision Blizzard. The Call of Duty Endowment (CODE) has been created by Activision Blizzard to help veterans with job placement and training. CODE was established to help raise public awareness of the challenges veterans face in returning back home to work in civilian life. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics states more than 500,000 unemployed veterans between the ages of 18 and 64 currently live in the United States. Activision Blizzard also notes: "Amid the greatest economic uncertainty since the 1930s, today's veterans by some accounts endure a jobless rate that is nearly twice the national average." Activision is using proceeds from their Modern Warfare 2 game to help fund the Call of Duty Endowment program and raise awareness for this issue facing veterans. To learn more about CODE and help on today's Veterans Day, you can make a donation at the Call of Duty Endowment (CODE) website at callofdutyendowment.org.
