eDimensional has struck a deal with Immersion Corporation, developers of the rumble force feedback technology on gaming controllers. eDimensional will be incorporating "rumble" force feedback to its motion sensitive Playstation 2 and PC controller, the "G-Pad Pro Gyroscopic Game Pad."

"Adding eDimensional as an Immersion licensee means that we're supporting the combination of touch feedback along with motion sensing," said Mark Belinsky, Immersion vice president of marketing strategy. "Together, these technologies define what most gamers would call 'next-generation,' and we're pleased to be working with eDimensional to make it happen."

In a previous article, Immersion offered Sony to drop an ongoing lawsuit in exchange for allowing Immersion to put the rumble feedback into PS3 controllers that Sony had dropped, after Sony had claimed both "rumble" and "motion" in a controller would not be possible.
