The PMS (Pandora's Mighty Soldiers) Clan will help launch Verizon's FiOS Grand Tournament, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, an online game tournament. The female gamer clan is composed of about 500 girl gamers from the ages of 9 to 58. FiOS Internet Service is Verizon's "advanced fiber-to-the-premises network." The PMS Clan will offer some schooling to get gamers prepped for the finals of the tournament. From Verizon: "PMS University will offer those attending the tournament finals classes on everything from how to get online via the Verizon Game Network's PlayLinc client to competitive tactics such as team play and weapons set-up."

Be the last man woman standing in Verizon's First FiOS Grand Tournament and win $100,000. Enter today (here) for the Half-Life 2 competition starting on June 15, 2006. The participants include this list of about 5,000 players. Sign up and you get "Half-Life 2: Lost Coast" free for the tourney.
