Bandai Namco's Ridge Racer 2 is headed for the Sony PSP, first coming to Japan on September 14, 2006.
From Console Spot Forums: "This time the game will have a total of 42 courses, including 24 courses from the Ridge Racer series, including Ridge Racer Revolution, Rage Racer and R4: Ridge Racer Type 4; plus 18 scudding and mirror courses not found in the series. There will be 54 car models from the series, plus 8 special models not found in the previous works. The Nitro system will be in the game, and a new Survival mode is added.
