The Xbox 360's Live Marketplace uses Microsoft Points as currency for purchasing additional content for Xbox 360 games. Microsoft makes it (too) easy for you to purchase items by using the point system to mask the actual cost of the purchase. Fortunately, Xbox Gamer "bigsteveouk" has created a "Unofficial Microsoft Points Converter" that will let you instantly get the points converted to currency for the United States, Great Britan, Europe, Canada, Australia and Japan.

Here's a sample of the cost (in US dollars) of getting all the downloadable content for Oblivion:
Horse Armor: 200 MS
Mehrune's Razor: 250 MS
Orrery Quest: 150 MS
Wizard's Tower: 150 MS
Thieves Den: 150 MS
------------------
Total MS Points= 900
Total Cost of Oblivion Content= $11.25

Jump to the Unofficial Microsoft Points Converter here.
