Immersion has opened a survey to gamers to find out how rumble technology affects the gaming experience. Sony has removed the rumble function from its upcoming PS3 controller, claiming the feature would not work with the motion tilt functions it has incorporated in the controller. An ongoing legal battle is the true reason for the removal of the function. Immersion has previously stated it would help Sony incorporate the rumble function in the PS3 controller and eDimensional has proven that rumble and motion functions can work together with their upcoming PS2/PC controller.
