Timeshift will feature film stars Michael Ironside, Dennis Quaid and Nick Chinlund in the game's voice cast. Ironside is the voice behind Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher and the lead character of the space survival horror game, Run Like Hell. In Timeshift, Ironside will play the character Doctor Krone, a scientist developing the time travel technology. Quaid will play as Colonel Michael Swift, the main character you play in this FPS game. Nick Chinlund will be General Mitchell, the director of time-travel project.
Timeshift was picked up by publisher Sierra Entertainment from Atari. The game looks like it is being given some much needed polish after a disappointing demo of Atari's Xbox 360 version, released on Disc #57 (May 2006) of the Official Xbox Magazine. Timeshift is scheduled for a September 2006 release from Sierra Entertainment on the Xbox 360 and PC and is being developed by Saber Interactive. Visit the official Timeshift site here.
