Word is out of a new game starring rapper 50 Cent. The title of said
game is “50 Cent: Blood on the Sand.” It is the follow up to 2005′s “Bulletproof” and will be available for the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360 systems. In “Blood on the Sand” players may reprise the role of
50 Cent who must protect his assets by collecting payment from a
crooked overlord.

The game also features character likenesses of Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks
and DJ Whoo Kid, all providing voice talent as well. “We are taking
this sequel to the next level with exciting combat and gunplay, new
original music, great graphics and a new story,” says 50 Cent. His
self-titled sequel will be powered by the Unreal Engine,
while providing gritty audio backdrops for gamers to play to. It will
also feature multiplayer drop-in and drop-out co-op. Take on enemies using “interactive counter-kills, driving, and aerial combat.”

This myriad of violent expression is being frowned upon by Sudanese
rapper Emmanuel Jal. Jal was a child forced to become a soldier in
Sudan and claims 50 Cent is making it worse for kids to differentiate
between right and wrong. See more on GamePolitics.com.

Yet, this is not preventing game developer Swordfish and publisher Sierra
Entertainment from releasing the title, which should be out later this
year. For more information on “50 Cent: Blood in the Sand” visit
