Ubisoft are the creators of the fastest-selling new IP in video games, Assassin’s Creed. For the sequel to this record breaking game, Ubisoft has summoned Jesper Kyd once again for its soundtrack. Jesper won awards for his work on the original Assassin’s Creed and seeks to continue his run.

Jesper Kyd takes the music in an adventurous new direction and crafts an immensely diverse, melodic and progressive musical palette featuring acoustic and symphonic orchestrations with emotional depth and diversity.

"We created a unique musical identity for Assassin’s Creed II that reflects the character and story of Ezio and elevated the music" said Jesper Kyd.

The original soundtrack to Assassin’s Creed 2 will be available on November 16th for digital download. Assassin’s Creed 2 will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 17th, 2009 and for the PC at a later date. An Assassin’s Creed II collector’s bundle will be available exclusively from GameStop for the Xbox 360 (here) and PlayStation 3 (here).
